Clay Powers

Clay Powers began his artistic career as an easel painter, creating "collage paintings". This experience would transfer well when he began his work in film and video. He has utilized many of the same painting techniques in the film and video world, particularly in compositing and VFX. Powers has produced and directed feature films, television specials, symphonic films, operas, commercial DVD releases, planetarium shows, and live performance art. Powers works as a broadcast producer, and creates short films in collaboration with composer Lee Johnson.
