Darrin Fletcher

Darrin “Fletch” Fletcher is a veteran filmmaker, storyboard artist, writer, director, and producer with over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry. From a young age he knew his destiny lay in film. At sixteen, his artistic talents earned him a position as a layout artist for XAM Animation Studio, creating work for iconic Saturday morning cartoons including Spider-Man and The Transformers. He turned down an offer from Walt Disney Animation Studios to pursue his passion for live-action filmmaking, making the transition at age 19. As a highly sought-after storyboard artist, Fletch has contributed to more than 65 feature films, including The Sandlot, The World’s Fastest Indian, High School Musical 3, and A Life Less Ordinary. His credits also include hundreds of international commercials (most notably the Foundation for a Better Life campaigns), large-format IMAX productions such as Mysteries of Egypt, Shackleton’s Antarctic Adventure, and The Witness, and television series and pilots including Charmed, Touched by an Angel, 7 Days, and Everwood. In long-time partnership with Chet Thomas, Fletch co-founded FletChet Entertainment, where they develop and produce feature films, television series, and commercial projects. In 1999 they launched Sneak On The Lot, an innovative online film-education platform that has reached over 150 schools nationwide, giving students and teachers hands-on professional filmmaking experience through its virtual backlot and week-long short-film intensives. Committed to service, Fletch and Chet also co-founded Haiti Strong, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting human trafficking through education and sustainable community development in Haiti. Currently, Fletch is co-writing and producing the feature film Abbey Gate with Chet Thomas for Angel Studios in partnership with Glenn Beck’s Mercury One. He also has two television series greenlit at Angel Studios, which he will direct and produce alongside Chet. Fletch lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife Tracie and their four children.
