Samir Khafagi

He was an Egyptian playwright, producer, and co-founder of the famous An Hour for Your Heart troupe which introduced a whole generation of artists. He then formed the United Artists troupe, which contributed to the emergence of numerous comedians through several plays, including Adel Imam and Saeed Saleh. He's known for the plays Hello Shalabi (1969), A Witness Who Hasn't Seen Anything (1976), and Sayed the Servant (1985). Samir also wrote dramatic work, including the TV series White Abbas in the Black Day (2004), and the film The Fake Millionaire (1968).
