
Dede Colak works as a shepherd in Aladağ district of Adana. Due to the high rate of child deaths in the village where they live, the families sought to go to the shrines and to give different names to the children born. Taking his name from the tomb of Koyun Dede, Dede lives the name given to him as fate and continues his daily life by carrying the difficulties that come from being a shepherd. The only dream of Dede, who cannot reconcile with his family and village people about marriage, migration to the city and work, is to marry.
