18 year-old director Maya Salvini creates a unique bond with 65 year old Palestinian woman Etaf Abdelrahman. A dark December afternoon offers a cue for a trip through Etaf’s lost memories of ‘shining’ Gaza. A Strip full of kindergartens near the sea, central apartments, school trips and family reunions in a chalet with the pool where she learned how to swim. A place which is disappearing before our eyes.
