Leningrad, 1983. Slava, Anton, and Denis spend their days at underground rock gigs, tuning in to Western radio waves, trading rare vinyl, and dreaming of a trip to the homeland of their beloved Beatles. Romantic Slava meets a beautiful stranger on a rooftop, but she slips away. Bookish Anton secretly longs for the queen of the city’s hottest parties, while rich kid Denis has a passionate affair, though he doubts it has a future. Their strong friendship begins to crack when Denis’s father decides to marry him off to a professor’s daughter.
