Marie, once the beauty queen of Mingkofen, has little to expect from life since the death of her well-to-do husband. When their paths cross, two damaged existences meet who are more alike than they initially believe. In a world full of mistrust and lies, Karli and Marie slowly grow closer - like two shy hedgehogs who first have to endure a turbulent journey to realize that they can only move forward together.
