Sayu, a 12-year-old child, feels sad and lonely because her parents are rarely at home due to work demands. She spends most of her daily life with her housemaid. One day, Sayu meets Takuna, a friend who tries to understand why her parents rarely comes home. Takuna kept asking questions until it gradually annoys Sayu, and one night, in her frustration, Sayu decides to run away and leave Takuna. Sayu doesn't return home until the next morning and her departure makes her parents very sad. Sayu waves at Takuna, who had escorted her home. However, to her surprise, her parents can't see Takuna. Sayu then eats a special medicine that her parents had prepared.
