Ema and Borja live on the shores of remote Lake Pirihueico in southern Chile, a place as fascinating as it is dangerous. Since their son drowned, they have been living separate lives: while she seeks comfort in Daniel, who helps her find her child's drowned body, Borja takes refuge in alcohol, violence, and firearms.
